Taken on the Trail of Two Forests, on the south slope of Mt. St. Helens. Two forests meaning the treed forest, which is new growth post-eruption, as this is where lava once flowed and petrified some of the trees about 2,000 years ago. The petrified being the second forest. Taken 10 Jul 2010.
